The Kingdom Glow

To the brokenhearted and crushed in spirit; to the hope deferred, poor, ashamed, and afflicted; to you who had faith in a preceding season and dwindled away or those desperate to seek His face again. This blog is for you. As a breathing, walking, and talking testimony of His undeniable supernatural grace and love, I am here to announce true freedom and peace. Here lies testimonies, knowledge, and wisdom of the beautiful, true and inerrant word of God.

We Must Talk About It

It’s okay. Do not clench in your seats too hard. This topic has weighed on me for several months since walking with God, and He has finally given me the authority to speak on it.

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Colossians 4:6 NIV

I would create injustice if I only spoke to you about the good news of the flesh. A false prophet could only tell you what a person wants here. A deceiving spirit that dwells amongst the people prophesies ear candy often. Jesus foretells us in Mark 9 that everyone will be salted with fire, the fire of God. As the salt of the earth, we are supposed to keep our Heavenly Father’s flame alive and amongst one another. Salt is for the flavor of a meal and to enhance the taste. Salt is for bringing the truth to the forefront.

Sugar is a sweet, light, and addicting ingredient. Sugar fills our churches, sermons, and conversations instead of salt. We preach and prophesy only about prosperity rather than how to get through the turmoil of life. We preach about how Jesus loves us but not His hatred of sin. Jesus loves everyone and wants everyone to repent, but He will not allow your willful sin as you follow Him. Too much sugar can lead to irreversible issues within the body(The Body of Christ).

Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

1 John 3:4-10 NIV

Sin. We must talk about it and stop allowing people to believe they are following God when, in reality, they are following the enemy. The children of the devil, as the scriptures state. Scripture says that you cannot eat from two tables: the Lords and the devils. In the coming times, people will forcibly choose a side, hot or cold. Lukewarm Christians will be spit out of His mouth. Judgment will arise, and they must decide whose side to be on.

Christ Jesus advised us to continue to love one another as He did; Jesus loved us so much that He did not allow anyone around him to stumble. One that provides anything and does not discipline would rather watch you hurt yourself than protect you. The great teacher, Jesus, did not tell everyone that He had come so that they may continue living in sin.
So, Amber, you said a mouthful, but how do we love and serve those around us who may not know the dangers?
When someone is going down the path of unrighteousness, remind them that it is a temporary form of escape. Long-term guilt may persist immediately after. The consequences of the action will cause more correction later than initially necessary.
In Christ Jesus, we are made new, and we are transformed through the renewing of our minds (Romans 12). As you follow our Lord’s commands, you will flee from sin. No one is perfect, and everyone must know the difference between falling into sin and giving themselves over to it. Extend mercy just as God has extended His mercy to you.

“If you love me, keep my commands.”

John 14:15 NIV
